Niagara’s Mountainview Building Group recipient of multiple prestigious awards

Mountainview Building Group, a Niagara-based home builder, designer and construction company, has received the prestigious honours of being recognized as Builder of the Year (Large Volume), and of having the Best Décor Centre, by the Ontario Home Builder Association (OHBA). The awards were presented at the 2024 OHBA Awards of Distinction Gala in Niagara Falls in September.

“This award is a testament to the devotion our team of hardworking, talented individuals puts forth each and every day to ensure their work is making a positive impact on our homebuyers, the community we are so proud to call home and an industry we love,” Mountainview Building Group President Mark Basciano said in recognition of the milestone achievement of being named Builder of the Year. “We are truly honoured.”

Development charges hike coming to Port Colborne

The population growth being experienced throughout Niagara is leading the region’s municipalities to pursue ambitious development projects to meet the needs of its residents. Port Colborne is no exception. However, things are about to get a lot more expensive for developers.
